Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has been responding to reports that midfielder Victor Wanyama could be out for another 14 weeks.

The Kenyan has not played since August due to a knee injury.

Pochettino said it would be a few more weeks before Wanyama was fit again but, when asked specifically if it would be another three-and-a-half months, he said "14 weeks, no, that is not true.

"Victor will have a scan this week and then we will see but it won't be another 14 weeks."
