Tottenham's defenders weren't surprised by Jermain Defoe's five-goal haul against Wigan on Sunday.
Jonathan Woodgate said Defoe would be a superstar if he was playing at a Barcelona or Real Madrid.
And Michael Dawson agrees, telling the club's website: "I see it every day in training and myself and Woody always say he's so sharp it's unbelievable.
"You hope you are not up against him because he's ridiculous.
"Since he's come back from his foot injury he's been scary, unbelievable.
"He's a top-class player and when you play against him in training you always think 'wow'. That can only help me though and make it easier at the weekend because you won't always come up against a player of his quality week in, week out."
