Tottenham defender Emerson Royal is being linked with a move to Italy.

The right-back has struggled to gain a regular first-team spot at Spurs under Antonio Conte.

Royal was a player Conte wanted as a wing-back, but he has struggled since joining from Barcelona last summer.

Per Calciomercatoweb, Inter Milan may offer him a route away from Spurs.

The Italian giants are seeking to bring Emerson to the club in January or next summer.

The report adds that Conte is not going to object to Royal leaving Spurs, especially if it frees up funds for new signings.

Spurs also have Matt Doherty and Djed Spence who can play in that position.
