Tottenham right-back Matt Doherty says everyone in the squad is behind Harry Kane.
The Three Lions attacker missed a crucial penalty in the second half of England's quarter final loss to France.
Despite scoring a penalty earlier in the game, Kane's miss meant that England were bundled out of the competition by the defending champions.
“That's tough on him. These things happen. Pretty much everyone who knows H would have put their house on him scoring, everyone knows he's the best man for the job," Doherty stated, per the Daily Mail.
“t will be tough for him now but when he gets back in, we'll rally around him and get him up and running again.
“He'll be fine. He's one of the strongest characters, mentally, that we all know."
Doherty added on the game: “I feel like France had one attempt at goal and scored twice - the first wasn't even a half-chance.
England looked dangerous. Harry obviously scored the first penalty, and then everyone knows what happened."
