Tottenham defender Steve Caulker isn't too down over being forced to miss England U21's European Championship campaign.
Having earned his first cap at Under 21 level for England in November, Caulker looked set to feature in the ongoing European Championship in Denmark this summer, but an ankle injury forced him to withdraw.
However, the London-born centre-half insists that there is still plenty of time to feature at a major international youth tournament with time on his side.
He added: "I've got plenty of time to play with the England Under 21s, but it was disappointing to miss out after picking up an ankle injury.
"I've got a few years left to get into that side though and hopefully I'll push on next season domestically and put my name into the hat next time round."
