Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld admits returning to Ajax is in his career plan.

Alderweirweld has just helped Spurs reach the Champions League final at his former club's expense.

He told Sky Sports: "I do not want to make popular statements, but it is definitely 100 percent in my mind.

"I have had wonderful times here with three league titles, but also losses.

"My family was also happy here."
