Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack.

Mauricio Pochettino desperately wants midfield reinforcements in January, with Mousa Dembele sidelined and Christian Eriksen also struggling with fitness.

Dack has impressed mightily for the Championship club this season, but Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has ruled out an exit for the Gillingham academy product.

"He won't go anywhere, even if we get big bids, in this next window," Mowbray said at an annual fans' forum.
