Tottenham are confident landing Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Spurs are in pole position to sign Lo Celso ahead of Manchester United, says the Daily Star.

Spurs are currently in the driving seat to get the 23-year-old with chairman Daniel Levy leading the negotiations with Betis.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is also a huge admirer of the Argentina international, who has been competing at the Copa America this summer.

Tottenham will offer a bid to Betis worth £60m including add-ons.

And then Lo Celso will be tabled a salary package worth at least £150,000-a-week.
