Tottenham coach John McDermott is being touted as a possible FA technical director.
The Football Association are seeking someone to replace Dan Ashworth, who is leaving in 2019 to work with Brighton.
Ashworth enjoyed a successful five year stint with the FA.
McDermott is currently working with Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs. He is in charge of overseeing every age group that falls below the first team.
The Evening Standard believes that he is a key name in contention for the job. But it is unclear if he wants the role, as he is reportedly happy at Spurs.
