Tottenham chiefs will need to make a call on Pierluigi Gollini in the coming weeks.

Gollini is Tottenham's second choice keeper, with the 27-year-old being one of the summer signings last year.

The Italian is currently on loan from Atalanta and the deal involves an option to buy, if certain criteria is met, says Football.London.

However the shot stopper has made just ten appearances in all competitions this season, conceding six goals and keeping just two clean sheets.

Gollini has made a few mistakes when he has been given game time, although overall has dealt with much of what has been thrown at him.

He has played in a number of cup competition matches but none in the Premier League.

Tottenham do have some academy players as other backup goalkeeper options, including Brandon Austin, but no one who has broken into the starting XI as of yet.
