Tottenham chief Paratici plans sensational move for Newcastle dazzler Saint-Maximin

Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici is planning a sensational move for Newcastle United dazzler Allan Saint-Maximin.

Signed from Nice in August 2019, the attacker has made a huge impression in the Premier League following a number of standout performances for the Magpies.

Football.london says Paratici is known to be a big admirer of the player, who chipped in with five goals and five assists in his 37 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle in 2021/22.

Mainly operating from the left wing, the 25-year-old also has experience of playing on the opposite flank and also in a central role.

If Steven Bergwijn moves on as expected this summer with Dutch giants Ajax looking to bring the player back to his homeland, Spurs will need to strengthen their frontline as they will require cover for the likes of Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane.

Summer addition Ivan Perisic is also capable of playing in Tottenham's front three, although he is expected to operate at left wing-back in Antonio Conte's system.
