Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici is eager to offload Serge Aurier today.

The Sun says Paratici has decided to cash in on Aurier in the remaining hours of the transfer window, but a late exit could be tricky to engineer at this stage.

Spurs are 'frantically' trying to find a buyer after failing to tempt Barcelona into a part-exchange deal for Emerson.

Aurier was initially offered to the Spanish giants, who rejected the opportunity to bring the 28-year-old to the Nou Camp.

He is not understood to be part of Nuno's plans for the campaign ahead and his swift departure is said to have been earmarked as a priority.

Aurier previously declared that he will not be signing a contract extension at Spurs and hinted at his preference for a return to Paris Saint-Germain, the club he left back in 2017.
