Tottenham are chasing Portsmouth wing-back Nadir Belhadj.

The Daily Mail says Spurs manager Harry Redknapp signed the Algeria defender for Pompey and was interested in the 27-year-old again in August.

Portsmouth are struggling for money and willing to listen to offers but Redknapp needs to sell first.

Pompey could, however, agree to a loan, in which case Spurs would face competition from Blackburn and Everton.
