Tottenham are tracking FC Cologne defender Kevin Wimmer.

Spurs made enquiries for the Austria international last month and will move for him this summer, says the People.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettno will go for Wimmer should he sell Younes Kaboul or Vlad Chiriches.

Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte is also on Pochettino's shortlist but Laporte's £30million price-tag has left him looking at alternatives - with Wimmer now a preferred option
