Tottenham are being linked with a shock move for former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

The Frenchman was a huge prospect at the North London club a few years ago.

But Guendouzi was sold to Marseille in 2022 after falling out with manager Mikel Arteta.

Spurs do not mind that he has an Arsenal past, as they believe the fans would have no issue with Guendouzi being on their team.

That is why the club have registered their interest in the defensive midfielder with Marseille, says Le 10 Sport.

The 24-year-old would relish a return to the Premier League, but convincing Marseille to sell will not be easy.
