Tottenham Hotspur set to compete with Liverpool for the signature of Lazio attacker Keita Balde Diao, according to reports from The Mirror.

Balde was arguably one of the best performers in the Serie A last season, scoring 16 goals in 31 appearances from a wide position and as a result, it has been no surprise to see the Lazio star attracting the interest from a host of clubs this summer.

Premier League outfit Liverpool have strongly been linked with a swoop for Balde and now according to reports emerging out of England, claims are being made that even Tottenham Hotspur have joined in the race to sign the 22-year-old star.

Lazio will surely not allow Balde to leave on the cheap though and it is believed that the Italian side have slapped a £30million asking price on their young attacker.
