Tottenham challenge Arsenal for Nurnberg striker Josip Drmic

Tottenham have joined the interest for Nurnberg striker Josip Drmic.

The 21 year-old Switzerland international centre-forward has been scouted extensively by Arsenal since the New Year.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sees Drmic as cover for Olivier Giroud and a replacement for the departing Nicklas Bendtner.

However, Spurs are now keen, where new chief scout Ian Broomfield already has a long dossier on Drmic.
