Tottenham caretaker boss Cristian Stellini says his relationship with Antonio Conte remains rock solid.

Stellini has stepped in to take charge to the end of the season after Conte left on Sunday.

Conte's former No2 told Spurs TV: "I feel sad because when there is a change of management in mid-season everyone they feel responsible.

"My relationship with Antonio is the same, nothing has changed in our relationship because we were friends, we were colleagues, we've known each other for a long time.

"This situation won't change our relationship either."

He added "The players are back and want to fight. Go straight and play matches, now it's very important to play and this is the their greatest desire, their focus. They have to be sensitive, but lucid against any opponent. There are 10 finals for us."
