Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris is hoping that he will be ready to play against Liverpool.

Lloris suffered a thigh injury during France's 2-1 win over the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League.

He is also facing a drink driving charge stemming from an incident before the international break.

"I am working hard to get back as quickly as possible," Lloris told French radio station RMC.

"There may be a chance this weekend but we will see how much progress is made during the week."
