Tottenham captain Lloris criticises FFF president Le Graet over Zidane comments

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has criticised French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet.

Lloris has reacted to Le Graet's dismissive criticism of French legend and former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

After announcing his international retirement, Lloris said: "There are things that are inappropriate, one cannot lack respect for former France players, even more so for an international legend like him."

The goalkeeper also said: "I would have preferred to end up with a world champion title but I prefer to remember this positive adventure, we have made the French proud. It is a relief to announce it, and I can feel privileged to have been the captain of France, to have been able to play so many games with the Les Bleus shirt.

"(Kylian) Mbappe? He can break all records, he is a great leader."
