Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has jumped to the defence of France teammate Kylian Mbappe.
The PSG striker was criticised for his attitude during the Euro qualifying defeat of Moldova.
But Lloris says: "We know his qualities as a player, as a man he remains a young boy.
"But he has a lot of maturity, respect vis-à-vis his teamates, the institutions he represents. He does not hide that he is very ambitious but he has always respected the rules of life.
"It is normal that he is scrutinized. We are here to help and support him."
