Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris says Barcelona should stand by Ousmane Dembele.

Dembele is again in hot water after sleeping in and missing Sunday's recovery session.

Lloris said of his France teammate, "Dembélé has great talent, but has made some mistakes.

"He is young and still has a lot to learn from top level football. But he has shown his skills on the pitch in his last matches. It's true that at Barça, you do not have the time and you always have to prove yourself every game.

"But I think things will be fine for him."
