Tottenham skipper Ledley King believes the new stadium that is waiting in the wings will be great for the club.
King admits that the current atmosphere at White Hart Lane is one of the best in English football but is delighted that plans to keep that unique atmosphere are being made.
"Spurs has been my life - the current matchday atmosphere is unrivalled, it's electric, players can almost reach out and touch it," King said.
"The fans have such a key role to play and I'm delighted the new stadium has been designed to maintain that atmosphere. It's what makes Tottenham Hotspur what it is."
The new stadium, which will remain on the current site expects to be finished within five years and will have an improved capacity of 56,250.
