Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has made a personal check on Lille star Gervinho.

Lille would want about £13 m to let Gervinho, 23, who has two years left on his contract, go.
Gervinho said: "I've been advised to stay for one more year in the French League. But if there is an opportunity where everyone is happy, you never know."
