Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp doesn't want to hear from the FA about the England job until the end of the season.
He feels he cannot be distracted by constant talk of taking charge of the Three Lions for Euro 2012.
"I couldn't do anything or go anywhere now and the chances are that whoever they go for will already be in a job. It will be difficult for them to walk out of their club at this stage of the year.
"I can only concentrate on Tottenham. We have had a great season and I don't want the players to start thinking 'What's he doing, is he going or staying'?"
"There is so much for the club to play for and I have to be here until the end of the season whatever happens." Redknapp, hot favourite to succeed Fabio Capello, said: "It would be easier for everyone if the FA didn't make any announcements until the end of the season.
