Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has all but decided on his first-choice goalkeeper.

Redknapp admits goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is staking a claim to be his number one, despite the arrival of Carlo Cudicini in January to add competition.

"He was excellent against West Ham," Redknapp said. "Potentially he is the top goalkeeper. I've got two good goalkeepers.

"I think Cudicini is a very good goalkeeper and has been unlucky not to be playing. This fella has done well so I stayed with him."
