Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has no problems with fullback Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
Redknapp reckons 'sense has prevailed' after Assou-Ekotto got off the hook in his bust-up with a fan.
The Tottenham supporter has withdrawn his assault allegations and the pair are due to speak later this week to bury the hatchet.
Cops have been probing claims Assou-Ekotto lashed out at the fan, believed to be Norwegian, after being branded 's***' following Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Wolves.
A Spurs spokesman said: "The club takes the conduct of our supporters and players and the relationship between them very seriously.
"We understand the fan has now withdrawn the complaint and that he and Benoit are due to speak this week."
Assou-Ekotto is in the squad for tomorrow's match with Manchester City.
Boss Redknapp said: "I'm just glad sense has prevailed. Benoit is a gentle kid."
