Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has left the door open to Fernando Llorente staying.
The London club find themselves short of strikers after selling Vincent Janssen to Monterrey and with Llorente stalling on a new contract offer.
It is understood that Llorente has been offered a one-year extension - but would have to take a huge cut on his £100,000-a-week wages, says the Mirror.
Asked if Llorente could stay, Pochettino said pointedly: “I don't know.
"I am not the person you need to ask."
