Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says a return to Espanyol could happen in the future.
The Argentine made over 250 appearances for the Catalan club over two spells before taking charge of the Los Perequitos for three years between 2009 and 2012.
"I've spent four years [at Tottenham]," Pochettino told Tiempo de Espanyol on Thursday. "I said before that, if a won [the Champions League], I would return home, to Barcelona.
"I've always said, as a coach and a player, that I will always be open to [returning to] Espanyol."
Espanyol have launched a promotion of their former player's success with Spurs, giving free printing of his name on the team's shirts.
"I love this proposal," he said. "I'm eternally grateful."
