Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists Hugo Lloris has nothing to apologise for after being sent off in their Champions League draw with PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs looked to have secured a much-needed victory after goals from Lucas Moura and Harry Kane cancelled out Hirving Lozano's opener, only for Hugo Lloris to see red for a rash charge from goal.
PSV had the momentum and it paid divends as Luuk de Jong equalised three minutes from time.
Pochettino insisted the blame was not to be laid at Lloris's feet, despite the late red card.
"In my opinion it wasn't a red card, but I don't blame the referee," he said.
"[Lloris] doesn't need to apologise. Football is about making mistakes.
"It was an action in football that happens often and of course sometimes that happens."
