Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta is ready to move into a No1 job.

Pochettino played alongside the former Everton midfielder at PSG at the start of the millennium.

“I think, for me, he has the capacity to be one of the best coaches.

“When he decides to be a coach, I know he is assistant manager with Pep (Guardiola), he has the capacity to be one of the greatest coaches of football.

“He is top. A top personality, character. He has all the quality to be one of the best."
