Tottenham boss Pochettino happy to name Gazzaniga for Man City clash

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino was happy to name Paulo Gazzaniga for today's clash at Manchester City.

Pochettino explained the reasons behind withdrawing Hugo Lloris.

He said, “We've added some fresh legs to the team, that's important. It was so tough on Wednesday, such an emotional game."

“Hugo has a small muscle problem. Hopefully it's not a big issue and he can be ready for Tuesday (Brighton at home). It would be a risk for him to play today and that's why we decided to leave him in London."

“It's not a game to be relaxed - it's a game to try to win. The most important thing is to be right in our selection because for some players it was impossible to repeat for different circumstances. You know we're suffering a lot of injuries in the last few months. We cannot take a risk and that is why it is better to have 100% fit players and not 80%, 90%. To avoid risks is so important."
