Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits Hugo Lloris's operation this week is a setback for the club.
Spurs decided to press ahead with surgery after initially leaving the France international's elbow to heal naturally after he dislocated it when landed awkwardly against Brighton on October 5.
“I didn't see him in the last week because I wasn't here," Pochettino said. “But he is strong, he is very mature, he's a man.
“Of course he is suffering now a little bit but he is going to come strong again.
"It's not a problem."
