Tottenham boss Nuno is hoping for two new signings in the coming days.

The Times says Tottenham are edging closer to agreeing a £47million deal with Atalanta to sign defender Cristian Romero.

The report adds Spurs do not anticipate any difficulty agreeing personal terms with the 23-year-old Argentine.

Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is also interested in his former Wolves winger Adama Traore.

Spurs will have to see off competition from Leeds for the Spain international.
