Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has told Harry Kane he can win trophies with the club if he stays.
In a club documentary, Mourinho is recorded telling Kane that the Spurs squad was stronger than the one he left at Manchester United.
“The world looks to English football with an incredible respect, but they still think that the movie stars of football belong to other places," Mourinho told him.
“I think we have to build also your status in that direction. I am a little bit like that as a coach. The reality is that my dimension is universal."
As Mourinho mimicked an exploding firework with his hands, he added: “And, by being with me, I think I can help you to... poof!"
“What I don't accept – because it is my f nature – I don't accept being here winning nothing. F**** hell, I don't.
“But, because of you, we can win things. You have better players than I had at Manchester United – so I think the club has a lot of stuff ready to explode. And I am here."
