Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has dismissed claims of their Christmas schedule being an easy one.
According to the 57-year-old Portuguese, there is no such thing as an "easy" run in this division, with Tottenham travelling to Wolves on Sunday.
Between now and February, Tottenham will only play one side who currently sit inside the Premier League's top eight - Liverpool at home on January 28.
Mourinho said, "We were in a period where we had to play against the considered top six teams, where we got them in a row. Some people can say now we are going to get an easier run of matches.
"What is easier? Go to Wolves and play Fulham and Leeds? It's not easier."
Mourinho added his players must embrace the challenge of their upcoming fixtures: "This is a league where we are. We should be very happy with that and not sad with that.
"I need to win three points in the next match and then three in the one after. If the next one is a Cup, I need to win or we go home and watch the next round on TV.
"I am not speaking about points (to win the title). I am speaking about going to matches and trying to win them."
