Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has sent Ivan Perisic to Qatar with express transfer orders.

TMW says before Perisic left to join Croatia's World Cup squad, Conte told the veteran to work on Josko Gvardiol about a January move to London.

Spurs are keen on the RB Leipzig defender, though accept they face competition from across Europe.

As such, Conte is hoping for an advantage by leaning on Perisic to convince his young teammate about joining him at Spurs over the New Year.

RB Leipzig are prepared to sell Gvardiol for €80m.
