Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has made it clear to chairman Daniel Levy they must do better in the transfer market.

Football London says Spurs insiders believe Conte has delivered a number of home truths to Levy.

Levy has developed a reputation as something of a frugal spender, with supporters often left frustrated with his seeming reluctance to splash out on the signings which could help elevate the club to the next level.

But the insiders are of the opinion that Conte has already made his feelings very clear to Levy about what he needs to do in order to achieve success, and Spurs could be set to make a number of big moves in the summer.

Spurs are next in action on Wednesday when they host Southampton in the league as they continue their push for a Champions League qualification spot.
