Tottenham Hotspur youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers has a very bright future ahead according to Mauricio Pochettino.
The 18-year-old centre-back, who is in contention to start for Spurs in their EFL Cup third round clash wth Gillingham on Wednesday night, is a promising prospect for the future says his boss.
"For me, he can be one of the best centre-backs in England in the future," Pochettino said of the likely debutant.
"He has a strong mentality, quality, all the qualities for playing centre-back."
English-born USA U23 international Carter-Vickers joined the Spurs academy as an 11-year-old and was included in the summer's pre-season trip to Australia, starting against Juventus and Atletico Madrid in the International Champions Cup.
