Tottenham boss Antonio Conte: Don't ask me about Chelsea spending

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte was not keen to speak about the spending spree of his old club Chelsea this year.

The Blues have been splashing the cash in the January transfer market, signing the likes of Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven this week and Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk.

However, Conte preferred to focus on his own team, even as he is aware that he has to compete with clubs that have vastly greater resources.

"To be honest, I don't want to go into this situation because I have a lot of headaches. I think that at the end of the transfer market, probably the club will explain our transfer market, [like] I asked last time, our vision, the way that we are in this moment," he said.

"I think it'll be good also to have another person to explain to you, otherwise in this type of question the risk to overcome a line is easy, and I repeat, I said a lot of times my thoughts. Now we have to try to be focused, to continue to improve, to continue to work. On Monday, we have another important game and we have to try to be ready to fight to get a good result."
