Tottenham's board are holding emergency talks today over the future of manager Nuno.

The Telegraph says Nuno's fate could be decided today as the Spurs board head into 'emergency talks'.

Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Manchester United saw the side hammered by their own fans, consigning Spurs to their fifth Premier League defeat of the season.

If they decide to wield the axe, it would mark the end of an extremely short tenure in north London after the Portuguese was appointed just four months ago.

Indeed, Spurs only arrived on the former Wolves manager's doorstep after they explored numerous other options including Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso.

Still, the hierarchy gave him plenty of money to spend during the summer, but they appear to be going backwards on the pitch.
