Mousa Dembele has suffered a recurrence of a foot injury that is delaying his return to action with Tottenham.
The Belgian midfielder left foot was stamped on in training as he challenged for the ball, meaning Dembele now feels pain when he uses it.
Boss Manager Mauricio Pochettino called the injury "minor" but it is a worry for Spurs that one of their most important players has made just two appearances this term.
"It is painful for him when he is in contact with the ball," said Pochettino.
"It is an old problem and he is now recovering from it."
