Tottenham have made an attempt for Peterborough United attacker Ricky Jade-Jones.

The Sun says Tottenham have just seen a £1.75million bid turned down for teenage Peterborough forward Jade-Jones.

The attacking midfielder, who made his Posh debut last month against Arsenal under-21s in the Leasing.com Trophy aged just 16, is being watched by most of the Premier League.

But even though doubt has surrounded Pochettino's future for some weeks, the club's recruiting department has carried on as normal.

Spurs have been warned they could have to pay up to £10m for Jade-Jones who has been described by Posh boss Darren Ferguson as “the quickest player I have ever managed".
