Tottenham are hoping for good news on Michael Dawson's ankle injury.

The defender was stretchered off the pitch in the Spurs 1-0 win over Newcastle on Sunday and now the club is awaiting scan results to determine the damage.

"I'm not sure if it's ligaments or a fracture but it looks quite nasty," said manager Harry Redknapp.
