Tottenham attacker Lucas Moura says it's time to end their trophy drought.
Moura has challenged his Tottenham team-mates to win a trophy this season to make up for the heartache of their Champions League final defeat in June.
Moura was not even on boss Mauricio Pochettino's team sheet for his starting XI for the showpiece.
He recalled: “No, he didn't speak with me. He didn't explain anything, but it's normal.
“He made his choice and I needed to respect it and be ready to come on and play.
“In the hotel, when he gave the starting XI, of course, I was a little bit sad inside.
“But I know how to understand, I know how to respect and I know how difficult it is for him to choose 11 players.
“That's football. We need to be professional and keep working."
Moura added: “We can dream of winning a trophy now and we need to work hard – because it is possible."
