Tottenham attacker Heung-Min Son: Going to be hard to pick ourselves up

Tottenham attacker Heung-Min Son admits they face a battle to rescue their season after elimination from the Champions League.

They still have an FA Cup quarter-final against Swansea and a top four finish to go for, but Wednesday's agonising European exit against Juventus has rocked the dressing room and checked their progress under boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The South Korea international said: “It's going to be hard. It's hard, difficult to change the mentality after the Juventus game but the next game is on Sunday again.

“We need to be ready mentally and physically. In all our minds, if we feel ready, we can beat Bournemouth. This is the main thing.

“We're so young. Remember last season when we had the problem with the Champions League at Wembley. This season, no-one can say anything about that because we played very well in the Champions League from the group.

“No-one thought in the group stage we'd go through but we did and in the group stage we played very well against Juventus. That's the main thing."
