Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in Manchester City defender John Stones.

The Daily Star says both north London clubs are keen to sign the City outcast with Pep Guardiola ready to show him the door.

City have made their mind up on Stone and are ready to sell him when the transfer window does finally open.

However they want to recoup the £50m they paid Everton for him in 2016.

The 25-year-old has struggled with injury and his confidence and has failed to fulfil his potential so far at City despite winning two Premier League titles.

And Spurs and Arsenal are both monitoring the situation as the look to add defenders this summer.
