Tottenham are ready to send Gedson Fernandes back to Benfica in January.
The Portugal star, 21, joined Spurs in January on an 18-month loan deal worth £4million.
But midfielder Gedson has played just 63 minutes out of a possible 810 this season, in the EFL Cup clash with Chelsea.
All in all, he's played just 13 per cent of the minutes available to him since his January arrival.
Most-recently, Fernandes was also left out of Jose Mourinho's 25-man squad for the Europa League campaign.
Now reports in Portugal are suggesting Tottenham will cancel his loan deal early and let him return to parent club Benfica in January.
