Tottenham are eyeing Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Mundo Deportivo says Spurs are gaining traction above sides including Juventus, Sevilla and Inter Milan in the chase to land the talented Croatian midfielder.

Rakitic is entering the autumn of his career at 32 years old and harbours desires to feature in the Premier League, which the Spanish daily reports will satisfy his economic and sporting appetite above all other possible exits.

However, Rakitic has also not ruled out staying at the Nou Camp despite being open to a move away.
