Tottenham ace Heung-Min Son admitted frustration after their 1-1 draw with Sheffield United on Saturday.
The South Korean star fired Spurs ahead in the second half, but the impressive Blades responded with a goal disallowed by VAR and then the equaliser from George Baldock on 78 minutes.
“It was a tough game, but we're disappointed we only get this one point, really disappointed," reflected Son to his club's website. “We tried to create chances, we had chances to score and we should be more clinical in front of goal. We were 1-0 up, I think we should get the three points.
“Sheffield United did a great job, I have to say that. They created chances and caused us problems. It's really disappointing and frustrating."
His goal capped an emotional week after Andre Gomes' unfortunate injury at Everton last weekend and his two-goal show in the 4-0 win against Red Star in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Son concluded, “I still feel, when I think about the situation, I'm so sad and as I said before, I realise how lucky I am with team-mates, coaching staff and staff, supporters from the other side of the world as well, they sent me such strong messages. This is the right answer to the people who have supported me, to respect the football and respect the people."
